Share One to One Closet
The Share One- to- One Ministry is a grass roots Christian ministry whose purpose is to help those in need. It is a partnership between a few Xenia churches in hope to help the community where we can and when we can. We make available through donations, articles of clothing, both adult and children, and other small items again as donated. We are located in the parish office at 68 E. Church Street and are open Tuesdays from 11 AM to 2 PM to anyone in need.
Thank goodness for that storage shed. We continue to be blessed with donations from the community. We have the basement and part of the garage packed with boxed winter clothes. We have racks full of clothes in the three rooms upstairs in the office and the garage is packed also.
We have totally exhausted the clothes closet budget. Our last purchases were body wash and deodorant in July. I limited each client that week to one of either not one of each. I had only one client decline. I ran out of items before we closed.
Plus sizes are our shortest available clothing articles right now. We can always use personal hygiene items, household items, kitchen items, linens, bedding.
Thanks to those of you who donated clip hangers. We are surviving for right now. Spread the word that we are open Tuesdays from 10 to 2. Christ Church Xenia recycles clothing and household items.

A second outreach is also emerging: serving social workers and children who have been placed in foster care. Clothes Etc. is putting together packets of clothing by gender and size--underwear, socks, pants and shirt--and then inviting social workers to make appointments to get packets for the children they serve.
